Explora Investments is an independent asset management firm based in São Paulo, Brazil, founded in 2007. Explora invests in publicly traded equities in Latin America, primarily in Brazil. The firm is registered and regulated with the CVM (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários).
Explora's investment process involves rigorous bottom-up fundamental research on individual companies to create Long-Only and Long/Short portfolios. Collectively, our four research sector heads have over 55 years of experience working with the leading Brazilian and global investment firms.
At Explora, we create permanent mechanisms of alignment between shareholders, employees and our investment partners as we believe that alignment is the major pillar of business sustainability. For this reason, much of the personal wealth of Explora's employees are currently invested in our funds and a significant part of our compensation is reinvested in the company and its funds.
